Anisha Chandwani

Research Associate

Anisha Chandwani is a Research Associate at GIVAX, where she contributes to the development and characterization of preclinical vaccine candidates. Before joining GIVAX, Anisha was a Research Technician at Thomas Jefferson University where she contributed to developing vaccines using highly attenuated rabies and measles viruses, working with vaccines in both preclinical development and clinical testing stages. Anisha graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Neuroscience and Psychology. As a student, she worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in a Behavioral Immunology lab that explored the bidirectional pathways between the brain and immune system and their implications for health, with a specific focus on the relationship between socioeconomic status and cardiovascular reactivity to acute stress.
